Listen and learn how you can feel closer as friends through common interests despite very different personalities, interests, or approaches to family life!

  1. Thank you for another enriching podcast! I loved the circle exercise and the emphasis on exclusive time together to strengthen the bond. I’m still working on getting the exclusive time outside of our home!

  2. I’m loving these podcasts! I like hearing both the male and female perspectives as you work to answer these great questions. I’m walking away from this podcast with a renewed dedication to carve out more time for my husband and I to spend together. The circle exercise is really helpful. I realize that we have a number of overlapping interests, but sometimes I sabotage the fun that we could be having together doing our shared activities because of my own fears of not being “good enough” at the activity. What a waste of precious time together! The comment at the very beginning about “re-learning how to have fun” struck me. This week, I’m going to focus on letting go of the perfectionism, traveling lighter, and creating more fun moments with my sweetie.
